1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you register or sign in, we collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • Profile picture (if provided via social sign-in)
  • Authentication method: Google, Facebook, Apple, or local email/password
  • Account creation date and last login timestamp

1.2 AI Chat Content

When you use AI chat features (Claude, Gemini, GPT, DeepSeek), we collect:

  • The messages and prompts you submit
  • The AI-generated responses returned to you
  • Conversation history (to provide context across sessions)

Your prompts are transmitted to the relevant AI provider to generate responses. Please do not include sensitive personal information (such as passwords, financial account numbers, or medical details) in your chat messages.

1.3 Audio Recordings — Sensitive Data

When you use the Meeting Recording feature:

  • Audio data is captured from your device microphone
  • Audio is transmitted to Soniox for transcription processing
  • The resulting transcript is returned and stored in your account

Audio recordings and transcriptions are classified as sensitive data. We request explicit permission before accessing your microphone. You may disable microphone access at any time via your device settings.

1.4 Image Generation Prompts

When you use the Studio feature (Nano Banana, Stable Diffusion, GPT Image):

  • Text prompts you enter for image generation
  • Generated images stored in your gallery

1.5 Purchase & Payment Information

When you purchase a subscription or coin package:

  • Subscription type (Weekly, Monthly, or Annual Pro)
  • Coin package purchased (50,000 / 200,000 / 500,000 coins)
  • Transaction history and coin balance
  • Purchase timestamps and renewal dates

We do not store raw credit card numbers, bank account details, or full payment credentials. All payment processing is handled by our payment providers (Stripe, ZaloPay, RevenueCat). Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details on how payment data is handled.

1.6 Device Information

We automatically collect:

  • Device type and model
  • Operating system and version
  • App version
  • Advertising ID (Android) — used solely for internal analytics, not for ad targeting
  • Push notification token
  • Crash logs and error reports

1.7 Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage data to improve our service:

  • Features accessed and frequency of use
  • Session duration
  • Coin consumption per feature
  • In-app navigation patterns

We do not collect precise geolocation data. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.


2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide the service — operate AI chat, image generation, and meeting recording features
  • Authenticate your identity — via Google, Facebook, Apple, or email/password sign-in
  • Process AI requests — forward your prompts to the relevant AI provider and return responses
  • Transcribe recordings — send audio to Soniox and return the resulting transcript to you
  • Manage purchases — process subscriptions and coin packages, track your coin balance
  • Send notifications — transactional messages such as purchase confirmations and low coin alerts
  • Ensure security — detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
  • Improve the service — analyze anonymized usage data to fix bugs and improve features
  • Comply with the law — meet applicable legal and regulatory obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

  • Legal obligations — to comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, or governmental request
  • Safety — to protect the rights, property, or safety of Kaikun AI, our users, or the public
  • Business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You will be notified before your personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy

Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except records we are legally required to retain (e.g., transaction records).


6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

  • Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time:

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account

By email: Send a deletion request to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and the email address associated with your account.

Upon deletion:

  • All personal data (account info, chat history, generated images, recordings) will be permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Your coin balance and subscription will be cancelled with no refund for unused coins or remaining subscription period
  • Transaction records required for legal or tax compliance will be retained for the legally required period

8. Children's Privacy

Kaikun AI is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below these ages.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected]. We will promptly delete the information upon verification.


9. Security

We take the security of your data seriously. Our measures include:

  • HTTPS / TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest
  • Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only
  • Regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.


10. Changes to This Policy & Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • Notify you via in-app notification or email

Continued use of Kaikun AI after the updated policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
